Dear Colleagues,On 1 July 2011 Poland assumed the Presidency of the Council of the EuropeanUnion. The parliamentary dimension of the Presidency is implemented jointly by theSejm of the Republic of Poland and the Senate of the Republicof Poland, so traditionally both Chambers will be the hosts of meetingsof chairpersons of specialized committees. We are convinced that the meetings willprovide an excellent forum for sharing views and discussing many current issuesrelated to the functioning of the European Union.Therefore, we have the honour of inviting you to the meeting of chairpersonsof economic affairs committees, which will be held on 11–12 September 2011 inWarsaw in the Senate building.
